Ok everyone! I hope everyone is as pumped up for tonights UFC 102 card as much as I am it could shape up to be one of the best cards of the year from top to bottom. It features in the main event two of the biggest ledges of the sport Randy "The Natural" Couture, vs Minotaur Nogueira. In a fight that most fans have been waiting years to see back when Couture was owning the UFC heavyweight division and Nogueira was dominating the Pride heavyweight division it was a dream match that every fan wanted to see.....Well fast forward about 10 years later and we are seeing that fight tonight with both men surprisingly still in the title hunt. Tonight some say will determine who will get the next title shot at either current champ Brock Lesnar or by a shocking twist current number 1 contender Shane Carwin who will meet at a stacked UFC 106 card in October. But as for tonight here is the way I see tonights fights going

Starting off with the first fight of the night on the main card

Chris "The Crippler" Liben vs Jake RosholtChris

Liben prides himself with his black belt in Jiu Jitsu but the Crippler could be a bit rusty his last fight was in 2008 at UFC 89 In the main event which he lost in a unanimous decision to Michael "The Count" Bisping. As for Rosholt in only his second UFC fight is coming off a tough lost to underrated middle weight Dan Miller at UFC Fight Night back in Feb

Outcome --Look for both these men to try and take it to the ground where they both like to wrestle however with the great submission game and experience of Liben look for a comeback win for the Clipper late in round 2

Krzysztof Soszynski vs Brandon "The Truth" Vera

This fight has fight of the night written all over it this is going to be a explosive fight with each fighter throwing bombs and kicks at each other. Soszynski is coming in to the fight with 3 straight wins with two of them by Kimura. Brandon "The Truth Vera" was once thought upon as the next big thing in the UFC after winning his first 4 fights in the UFC Including a KO of former Heavyweight Champ Frank Mir. Then Vera hit a wall and a long losing streak but now the 'Truth" is back

The outcome--This is probably the toughest fight on the card to call but here we go I think its pretty much just gonna be a brawl its no surprise that Vera is planing to use a bunch of leg kicks, now Soszynski comes from a great camp which includes Dan Henderson and they have been working on stopping the leg kicks look for Soszynski to get a punch in take it to the ground and either ground and pound or get a sub--So in a amazing fight look for a Soszynski win

Nate "The Great" Marquardt vs Damain Maia

What can you say about this fight this is just gonna be a war between two of the top middleweights in the world Nate "The Great" Marquardt comes in to the fight by winning his last 2 bouts via KO'S Marquardt is on a mission to get another shot and Current champ Anderson Sliva. In there first meeting Sliva just made Maruardt look like a chump with Sliva winning by first round TKO. Know for Damain Maia maybe the best Jiu Jitsu fighter in MMA He comes in the this bout with a 10-0 record with 5 of them coming in the UFC with all five of them ending via submission victory's for Maia The

outcome---Its no secret that Maia wants to take it to the ground and Marquardt wants to keep it on the feet.. Marquardt is one of the most well rounded fighters in the UFC and is just a monster size wise at middle weight so the question is how will Maia get it to the ground? The big Problem for Maia is the fight starts on the feet...Look for the match to end with Maia on his back after another KO Win for Nate "The Great" Marquardt

Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine vs Thiago Sliva

This fight is going to be a slug-fest Thiago Sliva is going to come out swing still very upset coming off the first lose of his career to Machida Sliva feels he has something to prove and he wants his rematch with "The Dragon". For Jardine coming off a heart breaking lost to Rampage Jackson He is ready to take on yet another top Light heavyweight contender.

The outcome--The out come of this fight will be all about strategies Slivas is knock Jardines head off and if he goes to the ground break his arm sounds good but putting it to work is a different story. As for Jardine coming from a great camp with Greg Jackson and his Training buddy Rashad Evans Jardine will come in prepared with a great game plan with abunch of leg kikcs that have lead him to victory over some of the top fighters in the UFC...Look for a descision victory for "The Dean of Mean" via abunch of leg kicks

The Main Event- Randy " The Natural" Couture vs Antônio Rodrigo Minatour

NogueiraWhat is there to say about this two ledges of the sport and two of the greatest guys in the sport going at it a fight that some fans like me wish would end in a draw...But it's not there trying to knockout and submit each other to Eran a title shot maybe the last chance they both have in the careers. We start with Nogueira coming off a beat down at the hands of Frank Mir at UFC 92 Nogueira has only 2 fights in the UFC and in both fights he has looked nothing like the Pride Nogueira from back in his hay day could this be all the wear and tear catching up to Nog?...As For the 13 year old elder of Nog, Randy Couture comes into this fight after having lost his Heavyweight title to Brock Lesnar back at UFC 91 Couture is known to win when people think he is going to lose and believe me there is still enough left in the 46 year old for another title run

The outcome---No doubt Couture has the advantage on the fight with his boxing and his Greco Roman style something Nogueira has never really faced. Nogueira with no big secret will be looking to take the fight to the ground which he is one of the best in the world he is also known for taking a beating and catching you in a submission to win the fight late. The problem with that in this fight is he is fighting one of the smartest fighters in the UFC Who will not fall into a dumb submission. Look for Couture to keep the fight standing much like Mir did to Nogueira at 92 everytime Nogueira went to the ground Mir pulled out and made him stand if Couture can do that it should be a good night for "The Natural"...Look for a great 3 round Victory via descision for Couture
